Ordering Sample Device Certificates

To facilitate the testing of WiMAX devices using a true PKI on a sample basis, WiMAX Forum members may purchase sample device certificates in blocks of 10. These sample device certificates include all the attributes of device certificates supplied by the WiMAX Forum’s two device Certificate Authorities, Motorola and VeriSign.

Each order of up to 10 device certificates costs US$500. Larger quantities of device certificates should be purchased directly from Motorola and VeriSign.

Note: server certificates are not available on a sample basis.

Steps to Obtain Sample Device Certificates:

1. Must be a WiMAX Forum member
2. Complete the Sample Device Certificate Request Form
3. Make payment of US$500 per order via credit card or purchase order.
4. Device certificate order is processed once payment is confirmed.
5. Note: Please allow up to 5 business days from the time of payment to retrieval of the certificates.
6. Download device certificates: WiMAX Forum will send you instructions via email on how to download certificates.
